Coach Blues’ garage contains cars for which he has a special affection and others that are truly exceptional cars. When he left Nantes for OM in 1989, he came 1978 Mitsubishi Colt (see image below). The car of the former defensive midfielder of the French national team does not look like much, but it allows him to travel around France with his loved ones. Then he admitted: “It was a nice little car, no big problems, I just redid the front because I really didn’t have a compass in my eye and the bumper looked run down.”

You should know that Mitsubishi Colt is also the European name of the universal Mitsubishi Mirage, which was used by five generations of this car from 1978 to 2003. Thus, Didier Deschamps owns the original model, which dates back to the year it entered the market.

Well-kept Ferraris

Later, he exchanged his Japanese car for a German one, and more precisely Mercedes 500 SL which he dreamed of since childhood. Years later, he managed to acquire it. He previously drove a Peugeot 205 GTi, a BMW 325, a BMW Z1 and a MW 850. The latter is now in his parents’ garage.
