The American (ranked fourth in the world) won the match against Yue Yuan (128 WTA) 6-2, 6-3 without much excitement, and there was a moment of embarrassment after Jessica received the trophy.

The organizers wanted the American to raise her finger and show the 1st place, Pegula did not understand much of them, and the whole scene caused smiles in the online environment.

Finally, after a few seconds of confusion, Jessica understood what was going on, and the organizers’ wish was fulfilled.
