
Iga Sviatek reached the finals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing, the former world leader managed to defeat US Open champion Koko Gauff in two sets.

Gauff was on a 16-game winning streak, but Sviatek again proved that she has a decision for the American (she now leads head-to-head meetings 8-1) and won after an hour and 13 minutes of play, 6 -2, 6-3.
Iga served almost perfectly, winning 26 of 30 first serve points and constantly pressuring her opponent.
