He began his sports career on the basketball court in the courtyard of a prestigious school in Bucharest. After 20 years of training and competition – two decades in suitcases, as Virgil often says – the basketball player turned to entrepreneurship.

The Sports HUB company, founded by Virgil Stanescu, takes care of the image of such athletes as handball player Cristina Nyagu, boxer and racer Mihai Leu or gymnast Catalina Ponor.
