A journalist and communications specialist with over 25-year career in print and television media, moderator and host of events, Mihai Konstantin was appointed Government Spokesman in July this year.

Prior to his appointment as State Secretary, Government Spokesman, Mihai Konstantin worked for more than 20 years at Public Television (TVR), most recently as a senior journalist in the news department. Among other things, he prepared and presented a column on digital education for GhiDigital.

At the same time, before his appointment to the Čolak government, Mihai Constantin was also the executive director of the Association of Mobile Operators of Romania (AOMR), the association that represents the interests of Orange, Vodafone and Telekom Mobile.

Also last year he collected 17,500 lei from Grayling Romania for moderating events.

In addition, he also had an income of about 82,000 lei from the repayment of loans previously granted to Rating Media SRL, where Mihai Constantin is an administrator, according to information from Termene.ro updated on September 1, 2023.

Rating Media engages in “advertising agency activities” and is wholly owned by Mihaj Sanda Merioar.

Data from the property declaration show that in 2017 Mihai Konstantin bought a house with an area of ​​117 square meters, an agricultural plot with an area of ​​3,800 square meters and two urban plots with an area of ​​597 square meters and 1,113 square meters in the city of Gorgota, Prahova County.

Mihai Konstantin also has an apartment of 57 square meters in Bucharest.

In addition, it has a numismatic collection and about 100 paintings and sculptures by contemporary authors, acquired between 2008 and 2023, with an estimated value of 50,000 euros.
