President of the Romanian Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, member of the College of Physicians of the Municipality of Bucharest, Sherban Bubenek, presents to his colleagues on International Doctor’s Day several tips for medical personnel, grouped in a decalogue.
Şerban Bubenek posted a message on Sunday on the Facebook page of the College of Doctors from Bucharest.
“Dear colleagues, the medical profession is liberal, but at the same time professional and with important social accents, guided by clear, ethical and deontological ideas that must be applied every day. That is why I urge you to use the decalogue that we have adopted for all staff since 2010 at the level of the CC Iliescu Cardiovascular Emergency Care Institute,” said Şerban Bubenek.
Then the President of the Romanian Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care presented the following Decalogue:
- “1. Treat the patient as you would like to be treated if you were sick.
- 2. Relatives of patients should be treated as one’s own relatives.
- 3. Smile and give confidence to someone who is suffering.
- 4. Explain to the patient in simple terms what you want to do.
- 5. Write everything down in the observation sheet.
- 6. Ask for help.
- 7. Does not in any way condition the provision of medical services.
- 8. Don’t ask.
- 9. Don’t get what you don’t deserve.
- 10. Remember the above every day.”
