The Romanian champions moved into the play-off spot after a narrow 2-1 home win over Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe in the 11th round of the Super League.

Lari and Budescu brought victory to Mayak against Sepsi

Gheorghe Hagi’s men opened the scoring six minutes later. Captain Jonuts Lari converted a shot from 11 meters after Ninay’s handball in the penalty area.

After this result, Farul scores 15 points and climbs to 5th place, while Sepsi remains in ninth position with 12 points.
