“The military situation in and around the Korean Peninsula is teetering on the brink of nuclear war,” warned Pyongyang’s UN ambassador Kim Son in a speech to the UN General Assembly in which he criticized Washington’s policies in North Asia and the East.

Attacking Washington’s policies in Northeast Asia, the representative of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the official name of North Korea, condemned “the dangerous current situation (which) is the fault of the United States, which seeks to realize its hegemonic ambitions by all means, overestimating its power.”

For the representative of the communist regime, Kim Jong-un, “responsibility also belongs to the ruling forces of the “Republic of Korea” (South Korea, no), who seek to impose the disaster of nuclear war on (our) nation.”

Seoul will be “obsessed with voluntary submission to the United States and fratricidal confrontation,” the North Korean diplomat concluded.
