
George Simion wants Prime Minister Marcel Cholaku to explain to AUR parliamentarians the fiscal measures the government will take in parliament.
“I am calling Marcel Cholak on Thursday to present my fiscal measures to the AUR parliamentarians. And farmers, and builders, and small businessmen,” wrote George Simion on Facebook on Tuesday.
The draft law on new fiscal measures, for which the Government will take responsibility in Parliament, provides for a turnover tax, an additional tax of 1% for credit institutions, the cancellation of some benefits for IT workers and construction workers, a reduction in the total number of management positions, conditions the granting of vacations the size of the official salary, limits the level of allowances.
Also, the draft of the Cabinet of Ministers increases the excise tax on alcohol and tobacco products and establishes a special tax on immovable and movable property of high value. The document was released on Tuesday morning by the Ministry of Finance
Marcel Çolaku met on Tuesday with the UDMR and minority parliamentarians to discuss a package of fiscal measures put up for public discussion and which the government wants to pass in parliament.
