A new record the world is set! It’s on the periphery IAA Mobility Show that the students of the Technical University of Munich presented “Muc022”.

This car completed a full trip from autonomy totally crazy, beating Previous almost a record 1000 kilometers.

More than 2000 kilometers of autonomy

Students from the Technical University of Munich designed car named after “Muc022”.

It is about vehicle being optimized to have the best Aerodynamics maybe. In general, the car achieved: 2573 kilometers for one charge. There was an old record 1608 kilometers.

For this, the car was lightened and equipped with a battery with a capacity of: 15.5 kW/h.

We will remind you that Munich students have already founded another record : the electric car that consumes the least.

In 2016their creation is consumed 0.81 kWh/100 km. Also a broken record Muc022.

A boost to the mobility of the future

On the scale, Muc022 only 170 kilogramswhich is extremely low and we understand the record a little better. Under the hoodthe engine offers power 400 W.

This record was welcomed by the Minister of State for Science and the Arts Markus Blume: “I am very proud of our wonderful university that requires and encourages innovative thinking.”

Thanks to this recordthe minister hopes it will elk to the mobility of the future purifier.

As for the vehicle that carries a new recordhe will tour Europe to to meet different actors automotive industry.
