there Polestar Synergy – an electric supercar concept that combines the design of three winning models of the last competition Polestar design competition, which received more than 600 applications. Participants had to imagine a Polestar style focused on the performance experience.

“This year, the story is as much about collaboration as it is about efficiency. I am proud that the team was able to guide and support the winners in realizing their dreams with a life-size model. It’s not often that design students get this kind of exposure early in their career, and the Polestar design community on Instagram is doing it so well, this year expanded with a 1:1 scale model and a planned tour of Polestar sites around the world »– said Maximilian Missoni, head of Polestar’s design department.

Polestar Synergy: three winners for one project

After a pre-selection of ten designs, the jury selected two winners for exterior styling and one winner for interior design: a first for this annual competition organized by the Swedish firm. This Polestar synergy is the result of more than 6 months of cooperation between the winners and the Polestar Design team that helped make these three dreams a reality.

The final design of this supercar is inspired by nature and sustainability, with a single floating interior design, which places the driver’s seat in the center. The Polestar Synergy will be on display at the Polestar Space at the 2023 Munich Motor Show and will be shown at other events in the future.

THE two winners for exterior design, Devashish Deshmukh and Swapnil Desai, live in Paris, France. Deshmukh’s design focused on hammerhead-inspired hollow volumes, while Desai’s design was about emotional longevity with technical scalability and materials that age gracefully over time. THE interior designerChina-based Yingxiang Li has created a cockpit with a performance-oriented seating position that emphasizes driving experience, comfort and floating controls.

100% electric supercar

The car has proportions and details never before seen in a Polestar: simply enveloping Height 1.07 meters, length 4.56 metersit aims to prove to the public that electric supercars can be just as exciting as their thermal counterparts.

The Polestar Synergy can be found at the Munich Motor Show, which opens its doors from September 5 to 10, 2023. It will then head to the United States and will notably be on display at the Hot Wheels Legends Tour in El Segundo, California on October 7, 2023, before continuing its American tour.
