The Israel national team arrived in Bucharest tonight for the match against the Romanian national team, which will take place on Saturday, September 9, at 21:45. After landing at Otopeni airport, the players were guarded from all sides.

Opponents of the “tricolor” landed in Romania around 21:00, and 3-4 hours before the buses that were to pick them up, they were checked and controlled by the security services. In addition, the plane landed more than two hours late.

After departure from the airport, the security of the team was ensured both by Mossad agents with weapons in hand, and operatives of the special intervention brigade of the gendarmerie. During the escort, a screen was formed between the other travelers and the players so that the latter could safely reach the coaches.
