
Ionela Kozmiuk and Mariana Dumitru have qualified in the lightweight doubles rowing for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee reports.
Kozmiyuk and Dumitru managed to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games after qualifying from second place in the semi-final series in the grand final event at the World Championships in Belgrade.
Romania’s time was between Great Britain and China, they were the first three ratings.
If Ionelu was waiting for his third appearance at the Olympic Games, then for Maria Dumitru it was her first.
The following athletes also qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games, completing the Romanian delegation: Marius Kozmiuc and Sergiu Bejan (double frame), and Ioana Vrančana and Roxana Angel (women’s double frame).
Currently, there are 16 athletes in the Romanian national team who have received tickets for Paris-2024

The Olympic Games in Paris in 2024 will be held from July 26 to August 11.
