After two days of categorically denying the fact that a Russian drone fell on the territory of our country, arguing with officials from Kyiv, the Romanian authorities were forced to admit their mistake on Wednesday. Experts in the field believe that the initial reaction of Romanian officials, who categorically denied the incident before the investigation began, is incomprehensible in such a case that attracts the attention of the international community.

President Yohannis reacted on Wednesday to the information that the remains of a Russian drone, which crashed after an attack on Ukrainian ports on the Danube, were discovered on the territory of our country. The head of state noted that if it is confirmed that these elements come from a Russian drone, “such a situation will be absolutely unacceptable and is a serious violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Romania, a NATO ally.”
