Constanta Lighthouse, unrecognizable in Ban
“Krajova 1948” won the brightest victory of this season in the Romanian Super League.
With an interim coach on the bench, the team from Bani outclassed the Romanian champions and won 4-0 in a late game in which Farul was unrecognizable.
Although the visitors had some good chances early in the game, it was Olten who opened the scoring. Van Durmen scored 1-0 with a header (min. 18).
The hosts increased their lead in extra time of the first half thanks to Dragos Alba (min. 45+1), who was well served by Aurelian Kitsu.
In the second half, the game continued in the same vein, and in the 58th minute Olten scored again thanks to Baeten.
Towards the end, Bauza also scored (min. 80), who took advantage of Ioani’s mistakenly deflected ball.
The final score was 4-0, and the Beacon suffered its worst setback of the season. The champion is in 9th place with 9 points, while Kraiova Mititelu has moved up to 8th place and tied with Farul.
