The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced that an agreement had been reached regarding the delivery of armored vehicles for medical evacuation to his country.
“The important news for the front line is that we have reached an agreement on the delivery of a large batch of armored medical evacuation vehicles to Ukraine. This is what the soldiers told me when I was in combat brigades. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense today,” Zelenskyy said in a message sent on Thursday evening, News.ro reports.
He added that he had received information from the General Directorate of Intelligence and the Foreign Intelligence Service about the plans of the occupiers, which he called “hopeless”.
Zelensky noted that another meeting was held on Friday, September 1, at the beginning of the new academic year, noting that an innovation is being prepared for students, parents and teachers.
He congratulated the Kyiv Polytechnic on the university’s 125th anniversary.
“Education will always remain the element that gives strength to the people and the state, which allows us to develop and become stronger, no matter what,” he emphasized.
Zelenskyi also said that he met with representatives of the BAE Systems company, which produces weapons and will start working in Ukraine.
