Against the background of the invasion of public misfortunes that are increasingly falling on Romania (traffic accidents due to the use of alcohol and drugs at a young age, fires that lead to deaths and injuries during clandestine activities, patients who died due to carelessness on the steps of hospitals, judicial a system that turns a blind eye to lawlessness, etc.), few people rely on the minimally adequate functioning of the institutions of the Romanian state, which are in complete internal disarray. Only clans of the criminal world and political businessmen who disturb the state budget can have a hard word in the Romanian ministries. The European Union does not deal with the internal politics of the state until it checks the actual activities in prefectures, police stations, town halls, courts, asylums, orphanages and hospitals.

Romania’s contribution to the functioning of the Romanian state is at the micro and medium levels, inspired by the balance of power in Romanian society, where the positive impact of foreign capital is observed only in a few urban centers at the national level, which are highlighted by Eurostat and INS. What is happening in Tekuchi, Krevedia, Caracalla, Calafat, Mizil, Barlad, Botoshan, etc. it belongs to the realm of Romanian fantasy, where merry (and criminal) anarchy dictates public order. Poverty and lack of economic opportunity breed brutal and violent corruption, this is no man’s land except for a few predatory clans that provide little in the way of human goods and services. Our state, despite its large budgets for public safety and order (compared to the budgets for education and health care, of course), does not control its citizens in the collection of fees and taxes or in the diverse world of organized crime (from drug trafficking to the dreaded people). It is a police state only in terms of the formation and distribution of the state budget. In fact, money is used inefficiently and is lost along the way, without reaching the ultimate goal: the good of the citizen.

The concern of the politically elected authorities is to send situations to be filled in as tables in Excel and write reports in Word, wooden language and sweeten the real situation with constant success. Instead of an alarming on-site inspection, which the state authorities do with force and threats, stick up ridiculous trifles or open criminal cases left and right, close after a few months or prescribe after seven years, when the disaster has already happenedstate institutions are covered in advance with papers signed and countersigned by the directors of these state institutions, as if by tracing the responsibility of numerous signatures and stamps, the culprit of an already real accident is predicted, which should happen live, perhaps presented as an emergency news. Disasters are predicted by written commitments, but problems are not solved in time. We do not treat, but simulate the too late cutting of living flesh. The simulacrum is not only total, but also opaque, incredible and indigestible.

Against this background of legitimate mistrust of the adult population towards the political order in the state, from September 11, 2023, schools and lyceums become extremely active again. We have a high dropout rate, which is actually much higher than in official reports. Acts of violence, drug use, etc. in recent years, it has not decreased from the units of pre-university education, despite the existing national disciplinary commissions, but, on the contrary, has increased. The DGASPC proved its limits during the horrific asylum scandal in July 2023. What will happen in this pre-university school year? It is impossible to say, but based on the implementation of Law No. 198 of 2023, which does not yet have established methodologies and procedures (and their inconsistency, as always, will be checked on the fly), so many systemic curiosities will arise that the risk of corresponding social crises is high. Next year we have several elections, in the fall we collected hammers. How will the electorate react? The stakes are high, expectations are low, and the behind-the-scenes election battle is heating up. Let’s keep our fists, as the strategic partner says, stunned by the geopolitical crisis in Ukraine and the fragile eastern front. – Read the entire article and comment on Contributors.ro
