One of the workers’ demands is related to the equalization of wages – “equal pay for equal work.”

According to some sources in the Ministry of Finance, ANAF and the Ministry of Finance will be among the lowest salaries for similar positions. Over the past few years, various regulations have introduced various increases in other institutions that have gone unnoticed by the public.

Dissatisfaction began with the fact that in the Ministry of Finance you can see the amounts that are distributed to employees of other institutions.

1,000 financial workers sued the state and won. Thus, the difference in wages appeared even within the borders of MF – ANAF in the territory.

About 19,000 employees now have open processes. As others were won, the same will happen to these, being considered discrimination. If the state loses, the state will have to pay both the court costs and the debt.

The information was also confirmed to us by the leader of the Sed Lex trade union, Vasile Marika.

Marcel Bolos signed the protocol on the equalization of salaries, but would not do anything in this regard, Marika said.

According to a document also seen by HotNews.ro, Minister Bolos signed a protocol in which he undertook, among other things, that:

1. There will be no cuts at the level of the Ministry of Finance’s own apparatus and subordinate units.

2. By August 21, develop a draft of an emergency order on the equalization of official salaries to the maximum level of remuneration, taking into account court verdicts.

3. Creation of the National Institute of Taxation, which will deal with continuous training and improvement of employees in the field of public finance.

The trade unions are now preparing for a general strike.

SED Lex Finanțe reminds that protests in front of institutions in support of claims of an economic, professional and social nature continue for the second week:

  • wage equalization – equal pay for equal work
  • separate professional family in wage law
  • drawing up the financier’s charter.
