The general councilors of the capital will meet on Wednesday, starting at 10:00 a.m., with projects on the agenda aimed at: installing a freerun and parkour area in King Michael I Park, installing 50 charging stations for electric cars and free sterilization of 6,000 cats.

* CGMB will discuss a project that involves the creation of a freerunning and parkour area for teenagers in King Mihaj I Park (Herăstrău). Funding is to be provided by ALPAB. The cost of the investment is estimated at 1.8 million lei, including VAT, with a duration of nine months. The proposal was recognized as the winner based on the results of the participation budget competition organized by the capital’s mayor’s office. The site currently has ramps for skateboarding, which, according to the feasibility study, are “in deplorable condition.”

* The City Hall of the capital intends to install 50 charging stations for electric vehicles, two charging points each, at 11 facilities in the city of Bucharest. According to the feasibility study, there are 286 charging stations in Bucharest, but many arteries or areas in the capital are not covered or have poor coverage in terms of the availability of charging stations. The investment goal is aimed at creating at least two recharging points at the station, which are fed from a single delivery point from the public distribution network, of which one point allows direct current charging with a capacity of 50 kW, and the other allows charging with alternating current with a capacity of 22 kW, as well as simultaneous charging at the declared capacities.

* Municipal councilors will also analyze a project aimed at the free sterilization of 6,000 cats of ordinary breed, with and without owners, within the radius of the municipality of Bucharest. The Department of Animal Control and Protection will be empowered to procure the necessary services. The confirmation note mentions a “large number” of petitions registered with ASPA from January to July 2023 (184 petitions) regarding the sterilization and adoption of cats within the radius of the Bucharest municipality.

* Another project provides for the termination of the powers of General Councilor Rares Hopinch, who became the prefect of the capital. His position will be declared vacant, and it will be filled by another representative of the SDP.

* Projects on the basis of which the municipality of Bucharest could take over the management of clinical hospitals CF1 and CF2 were put back on the agenda. With these two projects, the municipality asks the government to issue a decision on the transfer of the buildings located at Kalea Plevnei no. 142 – 144 (Clinical Hospital No. 1 CF Witting), Piaţa Gara de Nord no. 3 (Gara de Nord specialized clinic), str. Mărăşti, no. 63 (CF Clinical Hospital No. 2) and Calea Griviţei no. 359 (Policlinica CFR Griviţa) from the administration of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in public access of the Municipality of Bucharest, including the management of medical care.

* Also on the agenda is the budget adjustment project, according to which local budget revenues will increase by 47 million lei, of which 8 million lei represent non-returnable European funds, 7 million lei – dividends from national companies and companies and companies with majority control. state capital, and 14.4 million lei – other income from property.

At the same time, the General Directorate of Social Assistance proposes to increase the budget by 1.1 million lei to support the purchase of land with an area of ​​27,224 square meters. there is no 322-326, intended for social housing.

The street administration proposes to increase the budget by 5 million lei for the repair of the road network, sidewalks and signaling work. ALPAB’s budget should be increased by 3.2 million lei for the renovation of fountains in Regele Mihai Park 1, Cişmigiu and Tineretului; to the lighting systems and dog pens in the parks, as well as to the support layers and anti-trauma surface in the playgrounds located in Cişmigiu, Bordei and Tineretului parks. The budget of the Hospital Administration will increase by 10 million lei. The public transport budget will also increase by 24 million lei, the amount representing subsidies to cover the difference in prices and tariffs.
