After Chiron Super Sport and Mistral, it’s the smallest Bugatti’s turn to benefit from the treatment “Golden Age” : there Legendary Kid II. But unlike the Cabriolet, which was dressed only in a “gold” color specially created for the occasion, this Baby received much of the design also applied to the Chiron Super Sport. Naturally, being smaller than a coupe, he couldn’t get all 45 of his older sister’s sketches. But just like on the last one, all these sketches are obviously done by hand.
Unique design
To also have your own little “unique” touch, this Baby II received a special design that only it has a rear body. This is a sketch of Ettore Bugatti himself accompanied by his youngest son Roland aboard the very first Baby. The same car that today prompted the brand to resume production.
Up to 45 km/h
Despite its small size, the Baby II Vitesse is a real machine. This is actually a ¾ scale replica of the 1924 Type 35 developed not by Bugatti, but by the English specialist The Little Car Company. A company that does not lack experience in the field of replicas on a slightly reduced scale. Baby II Speed does not have thermomechanics, but a small electric motor with a capacity of 10 kW or 14 hp. Well, not so small. This allows it to reach a top speed of 45 km/h! Thanks to a battery with a capacity of 1.4 or 2.8 kWh, this little Bugatti can travel approximately fifteen to thirty kilometers.
Minimum 80,000 euros!
Like its two big golden sisters, this Baby II is apparently not cheap. let’s remember this every Bugatti Mistral owner is offered the opportunity to purchase this ‘scale model’ with the purchase of their W16 roadster. As with the Chiron Sport and its unique livery, we don’t know the price of this mini Type 35. But for informational purposes, know what entrance ticket to the last Baby IIwhose body was completely made of carbon fiber, was 80,000 euros before taxes!
