Simona Halep: “It is impossible to wait so long for a decision”

In an interview with Eurosport, Simona talked about the joy of resuming training, as well as how hard it is to wait in the absence of official tournaments.

“It was quite a complicated case. At the auditions, my team was incredible along with all of our experts. Bohdan Stoica, a lawyer from Romania, along with Howard (#Jacobs) from America were also lawyers. They were strong and my defense was very good. The truth is, it’s always easier when you tell the truth, and I had a feeling that everything would be fine.

I expected to get a solution much faster. As far as I know, it is three weeks in the regulations. It’s been two months now and I haven’t received any news about the decision. I’ve been training hard, I’ve also been posting to the media because I wanted to share with my fans that I’m motivated and want to get back on the pitch as soon as possible.

I received word from my attorney that I will not receive a decision until the end of August. I am very disappointed with this. It’s almost impossible to wait that long for a decision, but as I said, there’s not much I can do and I’ll have to wait.” said Simona Halepfor Eurosport.
