“One solution: If a lifeguard comes to you to save you because you entered after a red flag was raised, then that person should pay a severe fine for putting the lifeguard’s life in danger and for demanding rescue intervention when the red flag says ‘no’ to enter the water,” Raed Arafat said on Friday, as quoted by news.ro.

Recently, a yellow wind code was in effect in the county of Konstanz, and on the coast, lifeguards raised a red flag prohibiting swimming in the sea. There is a high risk of drowning due to large waves and strong currents. However, people entered the water.

In addition, in Efor, on Tuesday afternoon, there was a conflict between rescuers and tourists who wanted to enter the sea, although a red flag was raised, and after the scandal, two tourists were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

At the beginning of the week, 4 people drowned in the sea in Mamaia.

Tourists also drowned in Kostineshti and Venera during the mini-holiday of the Holy Mother of God.

Several tourists from Eforie Nord got into an argument with lifeguards on the beach after being warned not to go into the sea because of the risk of drowning. Constanta police reported on Wednesday that a criminal investigation has been opened in this case.
