Grigor Dimitrov, the former world No. 3, stopped in the first round of the ATP in Cincinnati.

The Bulgarian, who is ranked 19th in the ATP rankings, was defeated in straight sets by Alexander Zverev after a match that ended in just one hour and 13 minutes.

The winner of the 2017 Tournament of Champions, Dimitrov was able to take only 4 games from his opponent.

In the second round, Zverev (17 ATP) will play against Yoshihito Nishioka (45 ATP).

The Western & Southern Open (Cincinnati) is a tournament of the Masters 1000 series. The tournament will be held from August 14 to 20, 2023 with a total prize pool of $6,600,000. The champion of the title is Borna Corych.
