Roma is preparing for a season that promises to be very difficult for the team from the capital of Italy.

Jose Mourinho’s side finished last season in 6th place, but the Portuguese coach wants to fight for a place in the UEFA Champions League.

To that end, Roma have already brought in Evan Ndika (on a free from Eintracht Frankfurt) and Hussem Ouar (on a free from Lyon) this summer and are also ready to sign the World Cup winner from Qatar.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Roma have already agreed with Paris Saint-Germain on the final transfer of midfielder Leandro Paredes.

In particular, Roma will pay 4 million euros for the services of the Argentine footballer, who is also wanted by Galatasaray.

With a market capitalization of €12 million, according to Transfermarkt, Paredes didn’t quite fit in at Parc des Princes and Juventus, where he was loaned last season.

PSG paid 40 million euros for Leandro Paredes.

The 29-year-old midfielder also played for Roma from July 2014 to June 2017, but was also loaned out to Empoli. In his previous spell at Roma, Leandro Paredes made 54 appearances, scoring 4 goals and providing two assists.

In July 2017, he moved to Russia to Zenit St. Petersburg for 23 million euros.
