Al-Hilal – Al-Nassr 1-2, in the final of the Arab Club Champions Cup – two goals for Cristiano Ronaldo

The game at the King Fahd Stadium in Taif brought together stars recently acquired by the two teams.

If “Al-Hilal” released Kalida Koulibaly, Serhii Milinkovich Savic, Malcom or Ruben Neves on the field from the first minute, then “Al-Nassr” responded with Cristiano Ronaldo, Brozovich and Sadio Mane.

After a scoreless first half, Al Hilal opened the scoring in the 51st minute through Brazilian Michael, and 20 minutes later Al-Nasr’s Al-Amri was sent off and it looked like the winner would change.

But just three minutes later, Cristiano Ronaldo equalized with a small free kick.

The match went into extra-time after a 90-minute draw and the Portuguese gave Al-Nasr their first trophy since his arrival with a 98th-minute header.

It is also Al Nasr’s first Arab Club Champions Cup trophy, while Al Hilal won the finals in 1994 and 1995 but also lost two more in 1989 and 2019.
