Trade unions started a spontaneous protest near the Ministry of Finance. The reason is related to the resolution, which is aimed at reducing costs.
According to a report published by SED Lex, a meeting of the National Council of the National Federation of Financiers Trade Unions was held at the Ministry of Finance on Thursday.
The order, according to trade unionists, contains provisions relating to:
– Limiting the increase of harmful conditions to 1000 lei
– Food allowance is no longer provided to persons with a gross income of more than 10,000 lei.
– Vacation vouchers are no longer provided to persons with a gross income of more than 10,000 lei.
– Cancellation of vacancies
– Abolition of the office and the position of head
– Staff Regulations: 10 executive functions for service, 20 executive functions for management, 40 executive functions for general management
“The latest form provides for the possibility for the head of the institution to make a decision on granting the executive function to the head of the staff/service, whose authority is revoked. If they offer a position, and there is no vacancy, then everyone who holds a management position in the structure will enter the competition, and the structure will be reduced by at least one position,” the trade unions say.
- “Leaders of county member unions present at the meeting of the National Council decided to completely reject this project, which, if approved in its current form, will lead to a decrease in income by 700 lei (on average) and job losses.”
Sed Lex shows that this request is added to two other claims, namely:
- Equalization of salaries at the maximum level in remuneration for each position, professional grade and gradation in the taxation system
- Introduction in the new law of the remuneration of the “financial” professional family and the salary scale according to the complexity of the performed activity
In support of these claims, it was decided to start protest actions at the all-Ukrainian level:
- On August 22, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., a protest action with a stoppage of work in front of all offices of the fiscal system institutions: DGRFP, AJFP, customs directorates/offices, anti-fraud departments. .
- Simultaneously with the protests on the territory, on August 22, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., a protest action will be organized in front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, to which each regional trade union will send at least 10 representatives
- The protests will continue from August 24, 2023, depending on the development of possible discussions with representatives of the Government and the desire of union members and non-union members to settle our legitimate demands.
“Today’s meeting was also attended by colleagues from the Ministry of Finance, dissatisfied with the expected measures, who expressed their support, even if they are not members of the trade union. For us, this is a decisive moment, similar to what happened in 2010, when success was due to the solidarity of all workers of the tax system. It is no longer about the trade union, but about the income and work of each of us, as well as the position we deserve in the future law on labor remuneration,” the trade unions note.
