Musk shared a short clip of Twitter’s future logo on his Twitter page, the social media platform he officially bought last October.

Musk also changed his profile picture to an image of the new logo and added “X.com” to his social media bio. In a separate post, he revealed that Twitter’s headquarters were lit up with an “X” logo last night.

These new posts of his appeared after Musk announced a day ago that he wants to change the Twitter logo and abandon “all the birds” associated with the social network.

In a post published shortly after midnight, the billionaire said that “if a good enough X logo is posted overnight, tomorrow we will launch it worldwide.” “And soon we will say goodbye to the twitter brand and, gradually, to all birds,” Elon Musk added.

In April of this year, the blue bird was temporarily replaced by a Shiba Inu dog, the logo of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, a replacement that helped push Dogecoin’s market cap to four billion dollars.

Twitter’s website says the blue bird logo is “our most recognizable asset”, adding that “that’s why we’re so protective of it”.
