Ukraine will hang the “Russian imperial corpse” with “red lines” drawn by President Vladimir Putin, Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of the NSDC in Kyiv, threatened on Thursday, Ukrainian Pravda quotes.

“Ukraine’s response to rocket attacks on peaceful cities and the killing of civilians is one – to increase the number and scale of strikes on the missile launch systems of the occupying forces,” Danilov wrote on his Twitter page on Thursday.

“Ukraine long ago collected all of Putin’s so-called ‘red lines’ and twisted them into a rope to hang the corpse of the Russian emperor,” a Ukrainian official said, a day after Vladimir Putin announced a series of conditions for Russia to return to a deal that allowed Kiev to export their grain products through the Black Sea ports.

“Attempts of intimidation have the opposite effect and the consequences will be catastrophic for the Russian Federation. The occupiers are in for a lot of unpleasant surprises and greetings – not only from the army of drones, but also from the fleet of drones,” Oleksiy Danilov also said, apparently referring to the recent explosions on the Kerch bridge connecting Crimea with mainland Russia.

Russia’s Anti-Terrorism Committee said shortly after the explosions were reported that they were caused by a Ukrainian naval drone attack. The information has yet to be independently confirmed, but part of the Ukrainian mass media wrote that the attack was the result of an operation by the country’s special services and the Navy.

Danilov also addressed pro-Russian Odesa politicians before the war broke out on Thursday, saying “it’s time to explain how their Kremlin carpetbagging brought ‘Russian peace’ to the Black Sea port city and ‘how it cost blood.’ .

Danilov’s comments came after the Russian military launched missile strikes on Odesa for the third night in a row in an attempt to destroy its port facilities after it denounced a deal to export Ukrainian grain.

At least two people were killed and another 27 injured in overnight Russian attacks targeting Odesa, as well as the cities of Mykolaiv and Kharkiv, according to an updated assessment released Thursday afternoon by Ukrainian authorities.
