Edwin van der Sar suffered a brain haemorrhage while on holiday on an island in Croatia late last week and the former goalkeeper great was airlifted to intensive care.
The Amsterdam club “Ajax” issued another press release in which it was announced that van der Sar’s condition has improved and his life is not in danger.
“Edwin is still in intensive care, but his condition is stable. His life is no longer in danger. He is communicative every time we visit him. We have to wait patiently to see how his situation develops.” – says the club’s official press release.
