David Popovici will be a psychology student in Bucharest
David Popovici is preparing to participate in the World Cup in Fukuoka, but until then, the athlete registered with CS Dinamo Bucharest has made an important decision for his future.
He got an average score of 8.65 in his bachelor’s exam, and on Tuesday he announced that from the fall he will be a student at the University of Psychology in Bucharest.
“Officially from autumn I will be a student at the University of Bucharest. I chose the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogical Sciences (FPSE) at the University of Bucharest because I feel that I have an aptitude for this field and because I know that the best learning environment is where family and friends are around.
See you in autumn at the University of Bucharest campus in Pandura.
I am sure that I made the right choice and I am happy that, in parallel with my academic activities, I will be supported in achieving new achievements in the field that brought me the most wonderful achievements, #swimming.
I want my three years of study at FPSE University to surprise me with the diversity of knowledge gained at the University University, the approach of the professors to the field I am passionate about, and perhaps most importantly, I want to meet people with whom I can create such strong and high-quality connections”. – wrote David Popovichi on his Facebook.

We will remind you that in June 2022, David Popovich made a double at the World Swimming Championships in Budapest, having won the 100 m freestyle and 200 m freestyle.
During the entire World Swimming Championships, only one athlete managed to win the 100-meter and 200-meter freestyle events from the same edition.
It happened 49 years ago, and the one who ticks off this feat is called Jim Montgomery (USA – he is now 67 years old). That year, the competition was hosted by Belgrade.
