Two associations submitted applications for the tender organized by the capital city hall for the reconstruction of tram line No. 5, Mayor Nikushor Dan said. These are Tancrad Association (Leader), Oldroad Construct, Constructii Erbasu and Mari-Vila Com Association (Leader), Luxten Lighting Company, Electromontaj.

After that, there is a period of evaluation of proposals and subsequently signing of the contract with the association, which will be announced as the winner.

The tender is aimed at the reconstruction of tram line 5 on the section of the street. Barbu Văcărescu and st. Captain Av. Alexander Sherbanescu from Sos. Stephen the Great on Benyas Bridge”. Works will be carried out on the roadway, platforms, contact network, traction substation “Nordului”, public lighting system. At the same time, there will also be work on the relocation of traffic lights on Barbu Vaquerescu Boulevard and Alexandru Sherbanescu Street, as well as work on municipal networks, Nikushor Dan explained.
