The Spanish champions clarified that Martinez has signed a two-year deal, which will include a €400m release clause.
The player will be officially introduced at an event next week.
Inigo currently played for two teams in the Basque Country: Real Sociedad (2009-2018) and Athletic Bilbao (2018-2023).
