
From the 2025 season Dacia I will work as a builder in world rally-raids championship, in the T1+ category. An opportunity for a Romanian company to take part in the rally Dakara human adventure that has been gathering about 500 pilots of more than 60 nationalities for more than 40 years.

Dacia: synthetic fuel in competition
On this occasion, the Rally Raid will be a full-scale laboratory for Dacia to experiment with its ideas for outdoor functionality or low energy emissions.
With the help of car tuner Prodrive, Dacia and Groupe Renault will develop 4WD prototypes, which will be registered in the rally raid. They will be fed synthetic fuel produced by Aramco, the Saudi oil giant, a partner of the French group.
The synthetic fuel supplied by Aramco is produced by combining renewable hydrogen with captured CO2, resulting in a low-carbon fuel that is fully compatible with modern engines.
Sebastian Loeb at Dacia since 2024
To drive its rally prototypes, Dacia invited the nine-time world rally champion of France Sebastian Loebas well as a Spanish rally car Cristina Gutierrez Herrerowhich will officially perform for Dacia from 2024, during test stages.
49 years old, Sebastian Loeb Won the World Rally Championship 9 times, from 2004 to 2012 with Citroën: he is the most successful driver in motorsport and has competed in the Dakar Rally since 2016.
31 years old, Cristina Gutierrez Herrero is the first Spanish woman in the car category to finish at the Dakar in 2017. She has already participated in the Dakar Rally seven times, between 2017 and 2023.
