According to Termoenergetica, the following interventions will be made:

  • 1. Grivița Highway Pipeline between Granta Bridge and Karaiman Street in Sector 1. Interventions are required to complete some first emergency works that have already been carried out. About 25 blocks of hot water will be turned off from July 3 to July 7 at 11 p.m. The gas pipeline on this section was commissioned in 1981, while this section of the network has been in operation for over 40 years.
  • 2. Pipe replacement works in the area of ​​the North Station in sector 1. Works will be carried out to replace approximately 70 meters of pipe. For approximately 40 blocks, the supply of hot water will be stopped from July 3 to 7 at 11:00 p.m. The year of commissioning of the gas pipeline in this section is 1965, this section of the network has been in operation for almost 60 years.
  • 3. Highway 1 South – in the area of ​​Dumitru Slugeru and Heliade streets between Vii in sector 2, where work on replacing the primary network continues. At the first stage, approximately 25 meters of pipes of the same diameter have already been replaced. In the period from June 30 to July 17, another 100 meters of pipes will be replaced, due to which the hot water supply of about 100 neighborhoods has been stopped. The year of commissioning of the gas pipeline in this section is 1988, this section of the network has been in operation for 35 years.
  • 4. Repair work on highway 2 Sud, in the area of ​​Calea Vitan and Mihai Bravu streets in sector 3. The work is primarily related to particularly serious damage to the heating gallery due to the breaking of the slabs covering the gallery on Mihai Bravu street, near the intersection with Calea Vitan. Currently, the territory is fenced off, traffic is restricted. Approximately 125 blocks of this area will have hot water shut off from July 4th to July 13th at 11:00 p.m. The year of commissioning of the gas pipeline in this section is 1975, this section of the network has been in operation for almost 50 years.
  • 5. Pipeline in the area of ​​Reshita Street in sector 4, where approximately 20 meters of pipe of the same diameter will be replaced. Approximately 165 blocks of this sector will be cut off from hot water from July 3 to July 7 at 11 p.m. The year of commissioning of the gas pipeline in this section is 1976, this section of the network has been in operation for almost 50 years.
  • 6. Pipeline in the area of ​​Calea 13 Septembrie, sector 5, where approximately 20 meters of pipe of the same diameter will be replaced. Hot water will be cut off for approximately 48 blocks of this sector from July 3 to July 7 at 11 p.m. The year of commissioning of the gas pipeline in this section is 1984, this section of the network has been in operation for almost 40 years.
  • 7. The section of the network on Kampina street in sector 6, where approximately 120 meters of pipe of the same diameter will be replaced. Approximately 80 blocks of this sector will be cut off from hot water from July 3 to July 7, 2023 at 11:00 p.m. We remind you that the year of commissioning of the gas pipeline in this section is 1988, this section of the network has been in operation for 35 years.

Thermoenergetics clarifies that the terms of execution of the works are calculated before the opening of the construction sites and the opening of the galleries, and the completion of the works depends on their complexity, which is directly related to the state of wear and tear of the pipes.
