Edouard Mendy has signed a contract with Al Ahly

Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal and most recently Al-Ahly are the teams that have cracked the transfer market this summer and lured big names from the football of the old continent.

Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a contract with Al Nassr until the end of 2022, so Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Ruben Neves will also sign for rivals from the Portuguese’s squad.

Al Ahli Arabs confirmed the transfer of Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy on Wednesday.

Specifically, the team that finished first in the second division of Saudi Arabia and achieved promotion will pay around 17 million pounds for Mendy.

He signed a contract for 3 seasons with Al Ahly and will receive more than 12 million dollars per year.

Edouard Mendy has made 105 appearances for Chelsea since September 2022, when he arrived at Stamford Bridge.

With Chelsea, Mendy won the UEFA Champions League, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
