According to Gazeta de Sud sources, the 17-year-old boy who killed a 14-year-old girl in the Botanic Garden in Craiova was the son of a policeman from Dolj and was a student of the Craiova Military School in the 11th grade.

Law enforcement agencies have not yet released information about the identity of the attacker.

“This afternoon, around 4:00 p.m., the Dolj District Police Inspectorate was informed by emergency number 112 that two people had been stabbed in the Botanical Garden in Craiova. Police teams were immediately dispatched to the scene, the alleged attacker was caught and quickly immobilized while in custody. As a result of the incident, two people were injured – a 14-year-old girl and a 20-year-old boy, who were given medical assistance. Despite the efforts of doctors, the death of a 14-year-old minor was confirmed,” the Romanian police said.

In the operating room, doctors found that the victim also had injuries to his abdomen and spleen. As a result of his injuries, the young man lost more than four liters of blood.
