According to Sky News, one of Russia’s main allies has said that its armed forces are starting a 10-day annual “mobilization exercise”.

The Ministry of Defense of Belarus stated that the purpose of the exercise is to assess the country’s readiness for the mobilization of reservists.

All men in Belarus must complete military service and remain in the reserve after completing it.

Although Belarusian forces did not directly join the war, the country remained closely tied to Russia and allowed Moscow to use its territory as a launching pad for an invasion.

It has often conducted military exercises with Russia, and has also allowed Moscow to use its bases for training.

Earlier this month, Russian tactical nuclear missiles were moved to the territory of Belarus, in what Vladimir Putin called a warning to the West.

At the same time, the head of the Military Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that Russia has not yet delivered “any nuclear warheads” of tactical weapons, which, according to President Vladimir Putin, have already been moved to Belarus, the Kyiv Independent reports.
