Real Madrid have completed their second transfer of the summer, following Britain’s Jude Bellingham, by agreeing a deal for the forward who qualified Spain for the Nations League final.
Real Madrid forward Joselu has signed a contract with Ancelotti’s team
The formation coached by Carlo Ancelotti needed reinforcements in the offensive department, where Frenchman Karim Benzema left this summer.
Madrid have agreed terms with Espanyol, a team relegated to the Spanish second division, to sign Joselu on loan.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, he will play for one year in “Real” in exchange for 500,000 euros, and for the final transfer, “Espanyol” will receive another 1.5 million euros.
Joselu returns to Madrid after 11 years, during which he played for Hoffenheim, Eintracht Frankfurt, Hannover, Stoke City, Deportivo, Newcastle, Alaves and Espanyol.
At the age of 33, he made his debut in 2023 for the Spanish national team, for which he scored three goals in as many games.
Real Madrid have signed Jude Bellingham from Dortmund for €103 million and are also keen to sign Borussia youngster Karim Adeyemi.
