Pickup trucks are growing, but it’s clear that their sizes are often overstated. American startup Telo truckslocated in California, offers a a small 100% electric pick-up truckwith five seats and a garbage can, but which is no bigger than a city car!
Indeed, the Body pickup measures The length is 3.86 meters1.85 meters wide and 1.68 meters high: in terms of length, its size is comparable to that of a 3-door Mini Hatch!

Body: up to 8 seats on board
Despite its compact size, the Telo offers all the practical benefits of a pickup truck with a 1.52 meter long trash can, such as the Toyota Hilux, and even more than the Rivian R1T. Enough to use for the needs of professional activities during the week, as well as for leisure on the weekend.
Thanks to the electric motor, the front overhang is reduced to a minimum, so the model allows you to offer four doors and five seats in front. Additionally, third row of seats can even accommodate up to 8 people in total.
Under the hood we find a dual electric motorization 500 horsepower, which allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4 seconds, and all this with a maximum speed of 200 km/h. On the scales, the model weighs at least 2 tons.
Body: radius of action 550 km
The model has a Battery 106 kWhwhich allows displaying a autonomy 550 km (according to US EPA cycle): It can be charged in about 20 minutes to recover up to 80% of its capacity.
In the United States, the Telo pickup starts at a base price of $49,999 (without environmental bonuses), equivalent toabout 46,100 euros. It is therefore more affordable than other pickups on the market, with ideal dimensions for suburban use.
To place an order, simply go to Telo’s official website and make a deposit of $152 (approximately €140): an amount that applies to its length of 152 inches, or 3.86 meters. The American startup, however, did not specify whether the model will be sold in our European countries.
