F1 23: The Last Formula 1 Test Game! News from Auto Plus in your smartphone News from Auto Plus in your mailbox

We’re used to it now, every new F1 season also means a new simulation game starts the queen of car racing will see the light so that everyone who sits at the keyboard, joystick or steering wheel can merge with the skin of the Formula 1 pilot for a few minutes. After last year’s F1 22, not surprisingly, the new opus will be called F1 23 ! Developed by Codemaster and published by EA, a specialist in sports simulation games (football, baseball, american football, etc.), does F1 23 show any real changes compared to F1 22? We tell you everything!

The return of the “tipping point” in F1 23

Scripted game mode “strength limit”, which looks like what studio 2K might do for its NBA games, returns in F1 23 after disappearing last year. Designed “tipping point 2” in the game, this story campaign offers you an exciting multi-pilot story. So you can find Aiden and Butler for the rest of their story!

Simplified menu compared to F1 22

Compared to the previous version, the main menu has been changed significantly simplified. It now features the different game modes you’ll know if you’ve ever played F1 22, Career, F1 World, Multiplayer, League Race and Shop.

As for the multiplayer, it’s still a game cross platform if you enable the option in settings. That is, you can play on any device and cross paths with players with consoles other than your own.

Graphics and dynamics are always at their best

If the gameplay isn’t too different, you’ll very quickly find the same features in career mode or on the tracks as in F1 22, however, the graphics and immersion are always top notch. You can enjoy 23 calendar schemes, including an all-new Las Vegas track that feels like you’re there! If other routes aren’t available yet, no doubt EA has them suggest another (paid or not) in the coming months.

In the cockpit, even with little equipment, you will be able to really feel yourself behind the wheel of Formula 1. With lots or lots of driving aids, you’ll be able to experience the effects of speed on screen pixels, the feel of gravel or vibrators with controller/steering wheel shakes and optimized engine noise through headphones. All you need to do now is purchase some gum-smelling incense and a water bottle attached to a straw for F1 23 to awaken your 5 senses!

New single seater cars, yours and supercars!

As for the available cars, you will certainly find them single current stables running this season (not yet the new Mercedes B with pontoons introduced recently) but also supercars, as in the previous opus. Of course, you can also customize your single seater and driver with many colors, elements and sponsors.

Pilot notes!

As every year, the information that players are most looking forward to is the pilot notes! And, like every year, there are disappointments. Here are the player ratings:

Max Verstappen 94
Fernando Alonso 92
Lewis Hamilton 92
Charles Leclerc 89
Sergio Perez 89
Lando Norris 89
George Russell 88
Carlos Sainz 88
Valtteri Bottas 87
Esteban Ocon 86

Oleksandr Albon 83
Kevin Magnussen 81
Nico Hulkenberg 80

The game will be released on June 16. Until then, you can always start the engines and head out for a warm-up lap to warm up the tires on F1 22 ahead of F1 23!
