Gike Hagi proved once again that the work in his academy is at a very high level in Romanian football.

The prodigious former Romanian international won the title with Farul Constanta (formerly Vitorul) after a season in which the Constantinians controlled and put on the show, despite having quite a few young players involved.

Gike Hagi’s team was recently announced as the youngest champions in Romania with an average age of 22.1 years.

The Super League assembled the best starting 11 of the recently completed season, and the “sailors” have the most players: 5.

Next comes CFR Cluj, which gives 3 footballers in this team, followed by FCSB with 2 and Rapid with one.
