Androulakis: A Dangerous Scenario – N.D. Omnipotence

There is no co-government scenario between PASOK and ND, we strive to be a strong and reliable opposition“, said the President of PASOK, Nikos Androulakisspeaking Thursday afternoon on SKAI radio.

Regarding the dilemma posed by Mr. Mitsotakis, according to which, if the ND is not confident in its strength on June 25, the country will be led to a third election, Mr. Androulakis commented that “soon, Mr. Mitsotakis will tell us to vote for me, so I not to ruin your August holidays.”

“PASOK has nothing to do with the ND program, it serves a thousand families financially and in terms of development, and institutionally damages the country,” he explained and stressed. “I am fighting for PASOK to become a strong progressive opposition that will face the New Democracy.“.

Referring to People’s verdict of May 21Mr. Androulakis argued that “the most dangerous scenario is the omnipotence of the New Democracy, not the lack of governance“, while repeating that there is no scenario for cooperation with New Democracy, referring to PASOK’s program differences.

“In the phase we are in, the goal is the same, ND cannot do what it has been doing for four years, and instead of falling, it is rising because there was no reliable progressive alternative,” Mr. Androulakis said at the time. “Mr. Mitsotakis represents an Eastern-style economic model,” said President PASOK, criticizing Mr. Mitsotakis, describing “dangerous scenario” the omnipotence of the New Democracy. He also accused SYRIZA of having very high ND numbers “sponsored by him”.

“There is no fear of mismanagement, there is fear of the omnipotence of New Democracy and Mr. Mitsotakis,” he added, and accused New Democracy of arrogance after the results of the first vote.

“PASOK, SYRIZA and New Democracy are three different parties,” he replied to a question about comparing the PASOK program to the SYRIZA program. And he calculated that “the difference between PASOK and SYRIZA is that SYRIZA always says give more, we say give what you need where you need it”.
