The Ukrainian machine called “Ukrainian Terminator” is Ukraine’s answer to the Russian armored fighting vehicle BMPT “Terminator”. This prototype is almost ready and assembled in Ukraine, writes Forbes.
Ukrainian specialists equipped the Terminator prototype with a turret, cannon and dynamic armor. It is almost ready for testing – or, if the Ukrainians decide to refuse testing, for actual combat operations.

The Ukrainian “Terminator” is an armored vehicle with a crew consisting of a commander, a gunner and a driver. However, it is important to note that this machine does not have a landing compartment.
Although the Ukrainian Terminator is an auxiliary armor that accompanies tanks and combat vehicles, providing them with combat support with its firepower and thick armor, the Russian military has failed to implement its own version.
Russia built only a few Terminator self-propelled guns, and all of them were sent to Ukraine. During the conflict in Donbas, these vehicles were engaged in combat operations, one of them was destroyed by Ukrainian artillery.
Although there is currently only one T-62-based Terminator prototype in Ukraine, more may be built in the future if the machine is proven to work and is worth the effort to rework.
Ukraine has captured a significant number of T-62 and BMP-2 tanks from Russian forces, which creates the potential for their conversion into terminators.
