Gabe Vincent scored 23 points to help the Miami Heat’s away team win 111-108 over the Denver Nuggets to tie the NBA Finals 1-1 and gain home advantage.

Bam Adebayo had 21 points and nine rebounds and Jimmy Butler had 21 points and nine assists for Miami in Game 3 of the series on Wednesday, June 7.

Denver’s Nikola Jokic did it all (41 points, 11 rebounds) but it wasn’t enough this time, while Jamal Murray scored 18 points and 10 assists but saw his 3-point attempt go ahead with 9 seconds left.

Aaron Gordon scored 12 points and Bruce Brown scored 11 points off the bench for the Nuggets, who lost at home in this year’s playoffs for the first time (9-1).

Denver led 83-75 late in the third quarter before Miami exploded and built a 32-12 lead in the first eight-plus minutes of the fourth.

Murray hit two 3-pointers and Gordon hit one to cut the Heat’s lead to 109–106 with 1:09 left. Adebayo responded with 2/2 throws and Jokic cut the score to 108–111 before Murray failed to equalize.
