The Crime Against Life Unit of the Attica Security Directorate has solved the murder of a 50-year-old man in September 2022 in Athens.

A 29-year-old citizen was recognized as the culprit of the murder.

The above person was found yesterday afternoon (May 29, 2023) in Porto Rafti and arrested on the basis of a warrant.

As for the chronology of the case, on the morning of September 24, 2022, a 50-year-old man was found by a passer-by who fell on the road and was covered in blood.

As a result of the investigation, it turned out that a 29-year-old man, together with another person, after quarreling with the victim, managed to hit him in the face with his hand, as a result of which the victim lost his balance and fell on the road.

The two men then fled in a two-wheeled vehicle belonging to the accused.
