Sergio Rico (one of PSG’s goalkeepers) is hospitalized in intensive care at a hospital in Spain after suffering a brain injury.

The Spanish press reports that the goalkeeper fell from his horse in El Rocio, a town in Andalusia.

There were also reports (as yet unconfirmed) that the accident was not the result of a fall, but a blow to the neck that Sergio received from an out-of-control horse.

Sergio Rico, a regular at PSG since the summer of 2019, has made just 24 appearances for the French champions (none in the 2022/23 season). He was loaned to Sevilla and Mallorca.
