An explosion in the Pskov region near the border with Belarus damaged the control building of the Russian oil pipeline, Governor of the region Mikhail Vendernikov said today in Telegram.
He added that two drones were the cause of the explosion.
According to him, there were no casualties as a result of the explosion, operational services are working at the scene.
Vendernikov did not “point” Ukraine to the attack, but Moscow has previously blamed Kyiv for similar incidents, some of which caused damage to people and property hundreds of miles from its border with Ukraine.
Ukraine has not publicly admitted that it has carried out strikes against targets inside Russia, but from time to time senior officials in Kyiv have welcomed news of successful drone strikes on Russian territory.
There were no immediate comments from Ukraine on Saturday.
