Stefan Radu has been playing for Lazio since January 2008 and is the player with the most matches in the history of the Italian capital club: 426.

His contract with Biancocelesti expires at the end of this season and the 36-year-old Romanian will retire.

As a mark of appreciation for his long career, Lazio prepared a special moment for Stefan Radu in the Serie A match against Cremonese.

Il Messaggero journalists write that Maurizio Sarri will introduce Stefan Rada in the starting line-up, as Cremonese have already been relegated to Serie B.

The cited source also notes that more than 60,000 spectators are expected at Olimpico, who will come to say goodbye to the football player who won 3 Italian Cups and 3 Italian Super Cups with Lazio.

Lazio has already qualified for next season’s UEFA Champions League groups.
