Prime Minister Cuke asks Romanians to support Simona Halep

Simona was provisionally suspended after testing positive for Roxadustat at the 2022 US Open, and the ITIA recently accused the former WTA leader of irregularities in her biological passport (ABP).

Cuke says that Halep is innocent and asks Romanians to support her, who has brought them a lot of joy over time.

“Simone Halep is now being judged completely unfairly by everyone for everything she had for Romania.

From my point of view, I think that Simona is innocent and we should all support her because she represents a stage in the history of Romanian women’s tennis and she has made us all happy.

We stayed to watch matches and finals more than once. We were proud then. Now that this case has happened, which is still unconfirmed, everyone is judging and analyzing it. It’s not fair to her” – Nikolay Chuka.

The ITIA wants both cases involving Simona Halep to be heard at the same time

According to Express.co.uk, the ITIA said it had postponed the trial scheduled for May 28 because it wanted both cases to be heard on the same day.

I proposed that both charges be dealt with at the same hearing to avoid repeated hearings. For this to happen, we want all parties involved, including the Tribunal, to have sufficient time to process the large amount of evidence in this case.

Ultimately, the decision rests with the court. Simona Halep will also have the opportunity to present her arguments before the Tribunal.” ITIA claims.
