NLP MP Robert Sigarteu said on Saturday that PSD President Marcel Čolaku is playing a double game aimed at manipulating public opinion after proposing to suspend any negotiations on the future cabinet until trade union demands are resolved, as well as the “major” backlog of special pension reforms.
“Teachers have every right to riot. Politicians with executive duties have no right to apologize. For a year or so, the Ministry of Labor obliged them to come up with a solution for reducing special pensions and solving injustices in the state wage system. PSD’s and Mr. Čolaku’s way of conducting politics remains unchanged. A double game aimed at manipulating public opinion,” wrote Robert Sigiarteu on his Facebook page.
- It will be recalled that PSD leader Marcel Čolaku on Saturday asked to suspend the negotiations on the future government until “the demands of the trade unions are resolved, as well as the large debt regarding the reform of special pensions.”
- The head of the NLP, Prime Minister Nicolae Chuke, does not agree with the proposal and asks him to take over the government as soon as possible: “Only seriously will we overcome this moment,” said Chuke.
- Instead, UDMR supports the PSD leader. “I agree with this proposal! Governance is for the people, the priorities of society should also be the priorities of the ruling coalition,” said Kelemen Hunor.
Daniel Suchiu (PSD) attacks the “conjuda” of Robert Sigiarteu (PNL): “You did not lift a finger”
At the time, Social Democrat Daniel Suchiu attacked Robert Sigiarteu, who he said was secretary general of the PNL when the party had the entire government and did not lift a finger for teachers or health workers. “You were there with Rares when you promised to cancel the special pensions in a month,” reminds Suchiu Sigiartu, who says his only concern was the functions, but nothing came of it.
“Our dear countryman Sigiarteu, we know you, it’s true that in the last 3 years since you played that double game, because you are from Bistry, you moved to Bucharest, but let’s remember something about the realities. You were the general secretary of the PNL when you had the whole government and you didn’t lift a finger for the teachers or the health workers,” Daniel Suchiu wrote on Facebook.
However, he does Sigiarteu “justice” when he says PSD’s politics are the same, “first the agenda of the society, then the functions”. “Yes, today we refuse any negotiations on the future government, because the demands of 300,000 education workers and the millions of children and parents who depend on them are more important. Just as important are the discussions with those who work in the health care system on which we all depend. Keep calm, we understand that this concept is foreign to you, as your concern has always been one: positions (you wanted Minister of Development, Group Leader, Vice President of the House, Minister of Everything, President of the Diaspora, President of Sector 3 ). And you got nothing! PS – You were with Raresh when they promised to cancel special pensions in a month. The same result,” concludes Daniel Suchu. (Sources: Agerpres, News.ro)
